The College, Career, and Military Readiness Center is a one-stop resource designed to help students and parents plan for post-secondary success. Students will have access to SAT/ACT resources, college requirements, financial aid, armed forces, scholarships, career exploration, ASVAB testing, and so much more. I am here to help guide and motivate our students to succeed in life and encourage them to reach their highest potential.

PSAT OFFERED TO SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS ON OCTOBER 12TH


Sophomores and juniors will be offered the opportunity to take the PSAT exam at Brennan on October 12th. This is a great opportunity to get an idea of how you will do on the actual SAT. Brennan High School will host a Financial Aid Night to share information and resources with parents/guardians and students about the types of aid that are available to help pay for postsecondary education and training, as well as about the financial aid process.

NISD's Financial Aid Night and College Night at Northside Activity Center

NISD will be hosting a Financial Aid night on Monday, September 26 in the evening. Families and students are invited to attend a financial aid presentation.


NISD will also be hosting at College Night on Monday, November 14th in the evening at the Northside Activity Center (NAC) located at 7001 Culebra Road. More information will be shared in the coming weeks.

1. If you are sending to a school, fill in the Address type by selecting "Educational institution".

2. In the next field, type in the name of your school. The system will find it for you.

3. Once you select your school and hit enter, the address will populate automatically.

4. Click "save and close" and finish your request form. If you get stuck or have any questions, feel free to email me or call me.

What’s an FSA ID?

The FSA ID is a username and password combination you use to log in to U.S. Department of Education (ED) online systems. The FSA ID is your legal signature and shouldn’t be created or used by anyone other than you—not even your parent, your child, a school official, or a loan company representative. You’ll use your FSA ID every year you fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form and for the lifetime of your federal student loans.


You can create your FSA ID now. Please visit https://studentaid.gov/sites/default/files/creating-using-fsaid.pdf on how to create and use the FSA ID.



The Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) is used to collect information to help determine eligibility for state financial aid programs that are administered by institutions of higher education in the state of Texas. Students that are classified as a Texas Resident who cannot apply for federal financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) are encouraged to complete the TASFA. To review the FAFSA filing requirements, visit studentaid.gov or visit the financial aid office at the institution you plan to attend.
