A Peek At Our Following Weeks!
This month, we will be learning about forest animals! Students will be learning about where these animals live in the forest, what they look like, and how they are different from one another. We will be reading the book Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What Do You See by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle. This children’s book describes the many different kinds of animals that live in the forest and has fantastic illustrations! The children will also be drawing their own forest habitats. The particular skill that is targeted for this week’s lesson is for your child to be able to distinguish and describe the different types of animals that live in the forest and identify where they belong. By the end of the month, your child’s natural curiosity and desire to explore the differences of these forest animals should be noticeable.
Have a wonderful week,
Ms. Hopkins
