*Collection of Hi-FIVE dollars: Thank you for your cooperation during the collection process. We will be distributing HI-FIVE dollars to each staff member this week in a labeled bag. Classroom teachers will receive 35 each week, Teacher Assistants will receive 25 each week and Specialist will receive 75 each week. The PBIS SIT subcommittee has been working hard to refine our system and will be sharing new changes with you soon.
*ATTENDANCE: As many of you are aware student attendance is a major concern of mine. Students within the "warning" and "chronic" absence rate have been sent letters and meetings have been set up with families to discuss a solution to the attendance issues. This is a time for me to problem solve with the families and hold them accountable for their child's attendance. I also plan to review the attendance policy during these meetings. If you have concerns about a specific student please let me know. I will notify you after a meeting if it pertains to a student in your classroom.
*Serving Up Smiles: During the week of December 14th Local Firefighters will assist in serving our students lunch in the cafeteria. Sodexo is hosting this event!
*PTO Holiday Shop: The shop will run on Tuesday, December 15th and Wednesday, December 16th. Mrs. Martini-Proulx has shared the scheduled with all staff. Please see her or myself if you have any questions. The shop will be located in the conference room.
*"Lovely" Sweater Day: WWPS will host a "lovely sweater day" on Wednesday, December 16th. All proceeds will support "Christmas Is" and the suggested staff donation is $5.00.
*Dress Down Day: Friday, December 18th will support the Tomorrow Fund. WHES students will participate in a "Holiday Hat Day" to also support this cause.
*Holiday Break begins on Wednesday, December 23rd!
