Joys
The Missions/Trinity Team would like to thank all who helped us, in any way, with the Trinity Soup Kitchen. We had an awesome day! We served about 175 people and all left satisfied. Thank you to the Men’s Club for the “Crossroads Stew", it was a Big Hit ! Thank you to all who made soup, packed lunches to go, and sorted extra items. In addition to the soup, as a church we donated socks, hats, gloves, washcloths, soap and toiletries to each person! Thank you to all who helped serve, cook, and distribute clothes and other items. If you donated money, we used every penny of it and are so thankful for your kind donations. Your money helped buy socks, hats, gloves, and food for each person. We came away more blessed than the people we served. God is Good All the Time! All the Time God is Good!

The Lenten Season
This year we will have several ways to prepare for Easter. First, our Ash Wednesday worship service will kick off the season on Wednesday, February 14th at 6:00pm. This will begin Rev. Zack Martin's new series called "Power Tools of the Faith". Each week we will feature a power tool that goes along with the message of the week. After all, Jesus was a carpenter who used tools. This series will be a fun way to remember the importance of Christ in your life with ordinary household tools.
February 14th: A Router. On Ash Wednesday we learn that God wants to write his name on our hearts.
February 18th: A Power Washer. How the power of baptism works in our lives.
February 25th: Guest Preacher (Rev. Gail Thompson, Retired UMC pastor, Tool TBD)
March 4th: Demolition Tools. Jesus foretells his death and resurrection but we don't want to hear it.
March 11th: A First Aid Kit. What do we do when we misuse the tools?
March 18th: Guest Preacher (Rev. Hershel Sheets, Retired UMC pastor, Rev. Zack at Camp Glisson with our youth group)
March 25th: Palm Sunday--A Donkey. Our work is done in humility and strength.
March 29th: Maundy Thursday--Work Order changes. Jesus gives us a New commandment.
March 30th: Good Friday—A Hammer and Nails. The crucifixion remembered.
April 1st Easter—Jesus. He is the ultimate power to get things done in our lives.
