Job Fair at LHS

The Business Education Cooperative will be hosting a Spring Job Fair at LHS on Thursday, March 9. Students get the chance to meet local business representatives to discuss career options after high school and how they can get started working now!

Blood Drive at LHS

Our Blood Institute is holding a blood drive at Lonoke High School Friday, March 10 from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. To make an appointment, visit obi.org or call 877-340-8777.


Students may donate blood if they are 16 or older. If a student is 16, they need to print the permission slip and have their parents sign. DOWNLOAD PERMISSION SLIP

Yearbook Submitted for Publication

YAY!! 🎉🎉 The LHS Yearbook Staff submitted the final pages of the 2022-2023 yearbook for publication! The next time they see their designs, they'll be in the finished book. If you haven't ordered a yearbook, you can still purchase one for $55 from Jenna Brush at jenna.brush@lonokeschools.org.

LHS EAST Student Named Competition Finalist

Congratulations to Cheney Dorsey!! 🎉 She is the first LHS EAST student ever to be a finalist for an EAST Conference Award. The competition she entered is called "Hello, My Name is..."


LMS & LHS EAST students will be at the EAST Conference in Hot Springs March 13-17. We can't wait to see if Cheney wins!!

Raegan Ellen Named Southeast Region High School Counselor of the Year

If you run into Mrs. Ellen, be sure to congratulate her on this great accomplishment! She was chosen out of all the high school counselors in our region of Arkansas to receive this award. We agree that she deserves the recognition! Congratulations, Mrs. Ellen. 🎉🎉 You make Lonoke High School proud!

LHS Band Students Make All State

LHS students Bryce Cummings and Mary Best were selected to participate in the 2022-2023 Arkansas All State Band. They traveled to Hot Springs for rehearsals February 15-18 with other students from around the state. This is the first time TWO participants from Lonoke were selected in the same year. We're proud of our Jackrabbit Band! 🎉

LHS Swim Team Competes at State Meet

LHS students Cole Krablin, Logan Bevis, Hunter Newkirk, Eli Dollinger, Kanon Canamroe, and Karr Graham competed at the 4A-1A State Championship Swim/Dive Meet in Texarkana. Dollinger, Krablin, Newkirk, & Graham won 6th place in the Individual Medley Relay. Canamore placed 5th in the Butterfly and set a new personal record! 🎉 Awesome job, swimmers!

First LHS Wrestlers Compete in State Tournament

They made history as the first ever Lonoke wrestlers to compete in the State Tournament at UALR. Chauncey Johnson, Cam Hooten, Donovyn Colton, & Cade Norton competed in their respective weight classes. Hooten placed 4th, making him Lonoke's first ever All State wrestler! 🎉
