A message from our Principal:
An additional note from Mr. Leach:
WVL is sending out this communication to all WVL families in light of recent concerns regarding the "MoMo Challenge". Regardless of whether or not your children are viewing this or just hearing about it from peers we feel it is very important to share with our families.
Please understand that the WVL Tech Department takes measures to safeguard our students from inappropriate content while using their WVL Google accounts but is unable to monitor and safeguard local internet usage at your home. While WVL takes our students safety extremely seriously adult supervision is still the best while students use the internet.

Dr. Seuss Celebration
Thank you to all the students, teachers and Mr. Leach for attending this year's Dr. Seuss Celebration! A very special thank you to Mrs. Michalsen for organizing this wonderful event year after year! We had a wonderful turnout and lots of books that were shared and activities that our younger elementary students enjoyed! Mrs. Michalsen would like to give a special thank you to our student volunteers that helped bring this year's event to life:
Abbigail Knoll
Isabella Knoll
Alana Weso
Felipe Seifert
Elijah Knoll
Lizzy Dudzik
Maziee Brown
Lindsay Heding
Giselle Camarillo
Without student volunteers, our event would not be possible and these students did an outstanding job reading their books and conducting the activities! These students went above and beyond and even took special Seuss Day profile pictures to post! Additional students took the time to draw some artwork for us to share as well.

Please let us know if you are planning on attending Prom on May 4th, 2019 at The Ingleside Hotel/Springs Water Park (previously Country Springs Hotel) in Pewaukee, WI. I know it seems a ways away, but we are trying to get a guesstimate of how many people to expect. There is also a question on the form to select the theme you would most like to see at prom this year. More information including permission forms and prom guest forms will be coming out as it gets closer. Click here to take the survey.
2019/20 Open Enrollment
The open enrollment period is now open! Open Enrollment opened Monday, February 4th and will run through 4:00pm on Friday, April 30th, 2019. Open enrollment is a time that families, in the state of WI, can enroll out of their resident district, and into a district of their choosing. This is also the time of year that we, as a school, are starting to look at enrollment for next year and make plans for classes, staffing and opportunities for the WVL community.
If you are planning on staying with WVL, you do NOT need to fill out open enrollment paperwork. You are good to go- and there is nothing more to do but let us know you are staying with us. Please complete this short survey letting us know your intentions for next year.
If you have a child that will be new to WVL, you DO need to fill out open enrollment paperwork for them.
