Hawk's Nest Cafeteria Celebration
Many of the boys and girls at the The Hawk’s Nest Cafeteria Naming Celebration declared it as the “best day ever!” And that pretty much sums it up.
Thank you to all of the HSA Moms and Dads who provided the Rice Krispie Treat nests for all of the students. There was a treat for every child in the school (and there was even enough for the staff as well). Special thank you to Melissa Layton and our school nurse, Mrs. Fox, who worked to provide nests for all of the students with food sensitivities so that they had treats that looked and tasted identical to the others.
Thank you to Mrs. Wismer and her staff for going above and beyond to make the lunchroom look so festive and the menu for that day special.
Thank you to Spirit for appearing for every lunch period so all of the boys and girls had a chance to celebrate with him!
And, of course, endless thanks to Dr. Graf who planned this very special event and all of the little things that made it a day that our kids will remember as one of their best days ever.
More photos from the event are available on the Vernfield Twitter
