Hybrid is getting CLOSER...Here are some details
What we know so far
- Hybrid starts April 19th
- Students will be able to pick up lunch as they leave campus at 2:30
The following information is as close to final as we will get:
- At this time, looks like we will have one afternoon cohort of students for Hybrid
- Cohort means the group (6th-8th grade) students who will be on campus at the same time.
- Afternoon session is from 12:05 - 2:30pm
- This means that Hybrid students will have online work (asynchronous) in the MORNING.
What will it look like when kids are on campus?
- Monday and Tuesday - Each homeroom of students will be assigned ONE classroom space for the 2 hours and 15 minutes they are with us.
- Kids will NOT move from class to class. TEACHERS will rotate from group to group.
- Kids WILL rotate once if they have PE, Music, Art, Health.
- Thursday and Friday - We will have more transitions as we have elective classes students will need to switch for.
- More information about both Distance Learning and Hybrid Schedules will be sent out by Thursday.

- 1st, 2nd and 3rd Periods on Monday and Tuesday
- 4th, 5th, 6th period on Thursday and Friday
- This time will be from 8:00am - 10:15am - WHICH IS EARLIER
- Each class will be 45 minutes long
- In the afternoon, CDL students will continue to work online (asynchronously).
Other things to consider
- No scheduled office hours for students. Please contact your teacher via email or Remind with questions.
- No additional small group times as we had in our schedules before.
- Because of the demand on teachers doing both Distance Learning and Hybrid, please be patient with response time to your messages.
- We will send out new lunch bunch schedules as well as other clubs by newsletter at end of week.
Student Emails and Google Calendar
- Ms. Roletto will be sending information about activities throughout the year
- Teachers will confirm appointments with students
It's a skill they will need to have when they get to high school and expected to use.
Also it will be important for students to use their email because we WANT to text students, but we aren't able to use REMIND messaging directly with students as some parents have asked because their is an age requirement that most of our students don't meet.
