Essential Question: How Can Insects Be Helpful?
Words to Know:
- caught, thought, beautiful, took, minute, friendship, listen, idea
Vocabulary:
- corner: a place or area
- signs: things that give information
- disguised: dressed in a way that hides who you are
- solve: figure out
- mystery: something with a puzzle to be figured out
- seriously: in a way that it thoughtful and not joking
MATH...
This week:
- Skip counting by 2s, 5s, 10s, etc.
- Story problems with many numbers (ex: 3+5+4 = ?)
- Place Value (tens and ones)
- Adding and Subtracting tens

- Coins and their values

Check out XtraMath on your computer or tablet! The kids use it to practice their fast facts quickly and accurately. It's a fun way to do a little math each day!

- Bring a water bottle to school
- Empty your take home folder daily
- If your child is going home different than normal, please send a note to myself and the office. I will always send your child to their normal pick up place unless I have a note.
