March is “Music In Our Schools Month”!
March is “Music In Our Schools Month”! The Pembroke Music Department will be presenting their annual All-Town concerts to help celebrate “Music In Our Schools Month”.
- All-Band Night, Tuesday, March 10th at 6:30 PM in the PHS Gym. * Ticketed Event*
- All-Choral Night, Wednesday, March 11th at 6:30 PM in the PHS Gym.
- All-String Night, Wednesday, March 17th at 6:30 in the PHS Auditorium
The concerts feature students in grades 3-12 who sing in school chorus or play an instrument in the band or orchestra to perform on the same concert program together. It is a wonderful opportunity for the students and their caregivers to see and hear the breadth of the music program.
*SPECIAL NOTE: Due to audience size capacity in the PHS gym and the number of band students in the district, the All-Band Night concert is a ticketed event. Each band student in grades 5-12 will be given 2 free tickets to the concert for their caregivers. Only audience members presenting these free tickets will be allowed in to view the concert. Band students will be receiving their tickets from their band teacher in class next week to bring home. We apologize in advance that seating is limited for the All-Band Concert.
Tickets are not necessary for the All-Choral Concert or the All-String concert.

Introducing FirstView
In continued partnership with our transportation provider, First Student, Pembroke Public School District is launching FirstView®, a bus tracking and parent communications app for your smartphone or desktop.
Students riding the bus (PCMS, Bryantville, Hobomock and North Pembroke) were sent home with instructional letters and an important code unique for each school to sign up for a new parent app called FirstView®.
This app will allow you to see your students' bus route and get an estimated arrival at their assigned stop. Please read the instructions carefully. Each school has its own unique code that should remain confidential and this code has been provided to families with the letters sent home. The instructions will also be on our website under the Transportation section, but the Codes will not be posted.
Parents of students in PHS have received a separate email with the needed documentation.
We are excited to be able to bring you this tool and hope it is helpful to you.
Please remember your student should be waiting at their assigned bus stop prior to the bus arrival.

Dr. Penella's Friend of the Week is Landon! Landon moves my piano to and from the LIR for chorus rehearsals (without being asked). She also witnessed him show empathy and thoughtfulness towards students and staff when a classmate moved away. Thank you for being so kind and helpful!

Join the Mindful Morning Club!
Yoga helps students build confidence and self-esteem, improve the ability to focus, promote balance and ease of well-being. It can also improve the ability to cope with stress and challenging emotions, develop creativity and imagination and expand awareness. But more than that, it is FUN! It's games and activities with the intention of exercising and learning poses and sequences.
The club starts at 7:40 am in the music room. Please drop students off at the main entrance of the school. The Hobomock PTO generously funded 25 yoga mats, so students need only wear comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle.
March Schedule:
