Homelessness
The Issue
Homelessness is a huge issue in the United States, especially in our Nation’s Capitol. There are 3,821 homeless people in DC, and 1,131 homeless families. While we are sleeping in comfortable beds and eating nutritious food, many citizens of DC don’t have access to either of those. It is also very hard for many of these people to survive. On any given night in the district, 7,784 are homeless.
This graph shows how many homeless people are there in the US by State.
