TCSS Superintendent Search Stakeholder Group Meetings
The TCSS Board of Education recently announced a series of superintendent search stakeholder meetings. Consultants from McPherson Jacobson, LLC, an executive search firm, will conduct each stakeholder meeting for the purpose of gathering suggestions from TCSS employees and community members on the qualities they desire in the next Superintendent of Schools. The following meeting locations and times have been established to meet with various community and school system groups:

Congrats to the TCSS CCRPI 'Bright Spots'
· All middle schools increased their climate star rating to four stars.
· Fourteen out of 18 schools have a star rating of four or higher.
· Troup High received the maximum star rating for the second year in a row, with five stars.
· Berta Weathersbee Elementary received the highest score in the ‘progress’ measurement.
· Hollis Hand Elementary received the highest score in the ‘content mastery’ measurement, and they also received the highest overall score.
· LaGrange High received the highest scores in the ‘content mastery’, ‘progress’ and ‘readiness’ measurement for high schools.
· Callaway High received the highest scores for ‘closing the gap’.
TCSS leadership said they will continue to have a laser focus on the following:
· Aligning teacher instruction to state standards
· Continuing to teach literacy in all subjects
· Analyzing assessment data to monitor and improve instruction
· Providing professional learning and teaching resources to staff
· Improving community relationships to impact early literacy and student success
