Congratulations to Annabelle Scott!
Annabelle Scott has been selected to receive the Widener University High School Leadership Award (HSLA).
If Annabelle enrolls at Widener as an undergraduate student, Annabelle will take part in our Apogee Scholars Leadership Program and receive a $20,000 scholarship over four years. Apogee Scholars receive four years of leadership programming, including a Widener Leadership Certificate.
This award program is designed to recognize high school students in the region who have demonstrated leadership, stood up for what is right, and made a significant difference in their communities. Annabelle certainly has demonstrated these qualities, reflecting Widener University’s long-standing commitment to inspiring and developing leaders to affect positive change.
National Art Honor Society's Memory Project
Students in the Clearview National Art Honor Society once again created portraits for students in other countries who are struggling with serious disadvantages.
This year, portraits were sent to children in Nigeria, and the attached video shows the kids receiving their portraits.

But wait, there's more amazing news...
For the first time in Clearview history, two Robotics teams competed in the State Championship.
While team 20204 Charging Pioneers had a tough competition in the Parkway division, team 9848 GearView was the best team in the Turnpike division and easily won the semi finals and finals and advanced to the Championship finals where they put up a great fight against the Parkway finalists. Had they won just one more match, they would have advanced to the World Championship. The teams truly had an amazing season.

Math League's Pi K Fun Run/Walk
Math League hosted a successful 2nd Annual Pi K Fun Run/Walk community event on Sunday, March 12th.
We had approximately 150 students and community members take part in the fun, and we raised over $3300 for the Clearview Math Scholarships. It was so great to see how many parents participated in the event with their students. We are hoping to continue to grow the Pi K each year and make it an annual event for the Clearview community.
Math League Stockton University Competition
Math League competed in the Math Mayhem competition at Stockton University on Saturday, March 25th.
With over 100 competitors, Clearview's Shawn Zou placed 2nd in the individual competition, scoring one point shy of a perfect score. The team of Adam Bathurst, Ethan Bathurst and Adam Wax placed 4th in the team competition and the team of Eleanor Race, Shane Shenk and Shawn Zou placed 5th in the team competition.
Congratulations to the Cast and Crew of Mamma Mia for an amazing show!
Clearview's Dance Team Debut!

He was inducted into the South Jersey Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Karl was hired as a Math Teacher at Clearview in 1979 and retired in 2018. Throughout that time, he was the Varsity Head Coach for: Boys' Basketball (1981-1995), Boys' Tennis (1981-1989), and Girls' Tennis (1992-2016). He accumulated 569 wins during his Coaching tenure at the View. He is the winningest Coach in Clearview history. What an incredible honor for Karl and we are extremely proud of him!
Hoagies 4 Hope Success!!
Once again the Clearview Community stepped up big time to help make Hoagies 4 Hope 2023 a success. As a result of your support and incredible generosity, we were able to raise over $28,000 this year to help 4 families within our community, bringing our 9 year total to over $200,000. Of course this could not have been accomplished without the hard work and dedication of our student chairs for the event, Chase Corley, Juliana DiCicco, Madelyn DiMarco, Isabella Moraca and Grace Solomon. The five of them, along with their Hoagies 4 Hope Committee members, secured several community sponsors and sold over 1300 hoagies. Additionally, the help of our cafeteria workers and other staff volunteers, made the day of the event one of the smoothest in Hoagies 4 Hope history. Everyone stepped up big time to help our local families. Thank you to the entire Clearview Community for your continued support of this event and we look forward to another successful year of Hoagies 4 Hope in 2024.
Sincerely,
Christina Boody, Mike Wolk, Jr., Steve Moraca, Jenna Scott & Kathleen Edwards
