Week 3:

No School - Monday, September 21st will be a student holiday. Our teachers will be in Professional Development. Students return to class on Tuesday, September 22nd. The District's Adventures Program is offering childcare at Magnolia Parkway Elementary. If interested, email Stephanie Saker at

Progress Reports - Progress report #1 was released for parent viewing on Wednesday, September 16th. Click here for the Parent TEAMS portal link to view your child's progress grades and other items. They are were also sent home with the students this past Wednesday.

Purchased Chromebooks - The Lenovo Chromebook vendor informed us that the devices will ship on Monday, September 28th. It usually takes about a week for shipping so you should expect to receive the device the week of October 5th. Our District will update you with the delivery information once they have arrived.

Learning Options Request Change

Learning Options (2nd nine weeks) Request Change -The Learning Options for Term 2 ( 2nd nine weeks ) will open Monday, September 21st at 8:00 a.m., for parents to request a change in instructional setting for the 2nd grading period. The survey window closes on Sunday, September 27th at 11:59 p.m.

If you do not wish to make a change to your student's current learning option you do not need to complete the form. If you have multiple children, please complete a form per child.

In order to process these requests in an organized manner, please complete this survey below letting us know your request. Our placement committee will make the necessary adjustments to the homeroom roster. We will make every effort to make minimal changes to your child's daily schedule. But please know if we have a large amount of changes, this will impact our daily schedules for both on campus and online learners. We will communicate these changes to you as soon as possible.

This learning option will start Monday, October 12th.

Texas Photo: Individual Picture Day ( Oct 1st )

Individual student pictures are scheduled for Thursday, October 1st. We are using Texas Photo. Below is some information about individual pictures.

Online Students - Families who have chosen distance/virtual learning will have the opportunity to have pictures taken outdoors at a designated location near the school. Photographers will be stationed outside under tents. At the scheduled time, parents will be asked to bring students directly to the camera leader to sign in. The child’s picture will be taken and families may return safely home. Parents may also pre-pay for photos on-line through an order link. Safety protocols and protective measures will remain the same for outdoor and indoor photography.
