Important Notes
-Please be on time to school. We are having way too many tardies every morning. Dropoff begins at 7:15, then traffic is much lighter between 7:20 and 7:35. The tardy bell rings at 7:45.
-Please be considerate and refrain from sending food that contains nuts if your child's teacher sends notice that there is a child in the class that is allergic to nuts. This includes Nutella.
Please put your phones away during carpool! So far this year we've had one car run into a fence, one that ended up on the curb, and one of our teachers was naearly hit by a vehicle. Please think of the children and their safety.
Important Update to Afternoon Car Pickup Procedures, Effective Jan. 5th
E.R. Dickson carpool decals are required for pickup in the carline starting at 2:45pm.
ID Checks for those without decals will begin at 3:15pm. Please do not come to the front doors until 3:15, but remain in your car in the parking lot until this time.
Friday, January 20th: Wear a polka dot shirt and/or accessories, with uniform bottoms, for National Polka Dot Day on 1/22
Friday, January 27th: Wear a fun wig, with full uniform, for National Big Wig Day
January 16: Martin Luther King, Jr day- no school
February 3: Honors day parade- will be LiveStreamed; times to be announced
February 20-24: Mardi Gras holiday, no school
