What We Are Doing This Week
Reading:
This week we will be reading the fun book "Tops and Bottoms". The students always love this book.
Monday: We will introduce the new vocabulary words, identify the story elements(setting, characters, problem and solution, we will make inferences(using what we know and what we read to determine what might happen), and synthezing(going from the small picture to seeing the whole picture).
Tuesday: Since this book is about a bear and rabbit farming we will label vegetables that they grow.
Wednesday: Putting words in ABC order
Thursday: We will be determining the author's purpose for writing the story, and discussing if the story is fiction or nonfiction and how we know.

Writing:
We will continue to work on our personal narrative.
Grammar:
