Got Lanyards?
Help chose between 3 pricing schemes!
Overview
Because it has been proposed that CMS West learners wear their school IDs so they may be seen by staff for identification and safety purposes, Bart's Neck Pieces offered to help. They offered 3 pricing schemes-
A: $35 for the first lanyard, $5 for each additional.
B: $65 for the first lanyard, $3 for each additional.
C: $95 for the first lanyard, $1 for each additional.

Pricing Scheme A, B, or C?
Now that 50 lanyards have already been ordered, Mrs, Froese is eager to know which one of the pricing schemes we should use. The equations for equations A, B, and C are listed below.
A: 35+ 5x
B: 65+ 3x
C: 95+ 1x
Now that we know how many lanyards are purchased we can plug 50 to 'x'. So the prices for all the 3 options are-
A: $285
B: $215
C: $145
The graph on the right gives a visual of all three options.
Budget of $500
Option A
If you go with the first pricing scheme, you can buy 93 lanyards with $500 or less.
Option B
If you decide to go with the second pricing scheme, you can buys 145 lanyards with $500 or less.
Option C
If you decide to go with the last pricing scheme, you can buy 405 lanyards with $500 or less.
In conclusion...
Option C is the best one, since it has the least price in both of the scenarios.
