OUR VIRTUAL CLASSROOM

HOW I APPROACH READING The average college freshman is assigned 600 pages of reading per week. (It's 600 pages per class per week at the Ivies!) So, to help build stamina--while fostering lifelong reading, your student will select and enjoy one book each month this year. Ask your student what they're reading right now. THIS VIDEO and THIS POST explain the WHY behind my For the Love of Reading Program. | PARENT/ TEACHER CONFERENCES This year's November conferences will take place via Zoom. The district is ironing out the details, but the goal is for parents to be able to make individual Zoom appointments with teachers. (Goodbye, "deli" line outside teachers' classrooms!)
