Principal's Post
I want to thank our Mill Creek students and staff for their focus and behavior during a few emergency drills we conducted earlier this week - our Weather and Shelter in Place Drills. This focus and engaged participation allowed us to conduct drills that were executed the right way (following necessary protocols for safety in the event of a real emergency) and that occured quickly and safely. It was comforting for me to see that our students and staff were able to conduct these drills with such efficiency, giving me confidence that, if an actual emergency were to occur, we can get our students in the safest possible locations in the building in an orderly manner within a reasonable period of time.
Thank you for taking the safety of our school and your peers/colleagues seriously, Mill Creek.
Have a nice weekend!

From the Desk of Mr. Murtha
I have some skills in life. Dancing is not one of them (ask my wife). I like to act silly sometimes and dance around the house (to the chagrin of my children), but it is not necessarily pretty! So, my level of respect for DJ Reggie's presentation yesterday, which involved a lot of dance, had me in awe, as did the dance skills of our Mill Creek Dance Team - they were equally incredible! In fact, I was so impressed with the presentation and so inspired by DJ Reggie's message that I found myself dancing along... hopefully I didn't do too much to damage my reputation in the process! Fortunately, I was the one taking photos, so there is no photo evidence of my questionable dance skills!
I encourage you to ask your child(ren) about DJ Reggie's presentation and especially its positive character trait message.
Have an amazing weekend, Mill Creek!
Mr. John C. Murtha
Assistant Principal
