College Course Information

Parents and guardians, we invite you to reach out to Mrs. Perry (, our RCC Liaison, at any time with questions or concerns about your child's academic performance in a college class. Please remember, our high school students are treated as college students regarding their RCC courses; therefore, college instructors will only speak directly to the student. Additionally, Mrs. Perry addresses any alerts/concerns she receives from instructors with our students. We encourage you to have conversations with your student. Please have students show you their Moodle (college courses), Canvas (high school courses) and PowerSchool. You can access Parent Portal for PowerSchool and you can become an observer in Canvas as well.

Please be aware, at this point in the semester, when a student is withdrawn from a college class, he/she receives a failure on the high school transcript. This is also the case if a student chooses to drop a class.

Canvas Observer

All students are using the online learning management platform, Canvas, for their high school classes. All of our high school teachers are using Canvas for their classes. Parents are able to join the class as an observer and see their child (and only their child's) academic performance. If you would like to join your child's class as an observer, please email your child's teacher. If you are unsure who to email, you are welcome to email me, (Shea Grosch and I will forward your email to the correct teachers.
