Mr. Mason Believes......
The Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed
Who is Mr. Mason?
Mr. Mason is the assistant principal of Jubilee Primary School. He is 55 years old, Christian and has 4 children and 2 grandchildren.
The Language of the Creeds
He says the both Creeds have I believe and we believe statements. If you don't believe it is just a bunch of words. The purpose of a group is to have a motto, mission statement and a team song.
Timeless Words to Live by
Mr. Mason believes that things change but your beliefs don't. In challenging times there is something to hold onto. They summarise who I am as a Christian, conducts myself according to beliefs and grounds me.
Being Apart of Something Bigger Than me
According to Mr. Mason the Creeds mean they give me a purpose and I feel like I am apart of whats there. He also says its part of human nature to believe in something. It joins other people together who also believe.
What Do The Creeds Mean to me
Because I don't have a religion I don't believe in the way that they want me to but I do believe some of the lines in them to reach out to others and care about people.
