When is what due?
Objective A: Planning will be completed by the end of 1st Semester.
Objective B: Applying Skills will be completed by the end of February
Objective C: Reflecting will be completed prior to Spring Break in March.
Process Journal Weekly Submission
Fill out this link every week to keep your Process Journal recorded and documented correctly.
Task One
1.Read Hillsboro Edited Personal Project Guide for 2021.
2.Read Approaches to Learning Guide
3.Submit Check for Understanding for Summer Credit. If you do not have an @mnpsk12.org email account because you are a new student to MNPS/Hillsboro, please email me so I can give you your account details or give you another link.
Task Two
Due December 3rd EXTENSION DUE TO CONNECTIVITY ISSUES
Create Noodletools Personal Project Folder. Get a hall pass to come to the library to complete this 15 minute task. You can also join me for Overtime Tuesdays & Thursday at 2:20!

Noodletools Directions:
- Login to Clever
- Click Noodletools in Clever (under Libraries section)
- Login to Noodletools Using Office 365
- Follow prompts for directions requested making sure to select Hillsboro and not Hillwood!
- Follow Direction for Creating new project on Smore Directions https://www.smore.com/u58mh
- Follow Directions for Sharing Project on Smore Directions and share . The inbox to share to is Class of 2024 Personal Projects

Task Three

Task Four
Begin your research. Start gathering your sources & documenting your research. At this point you should have 5 sources listed in your Noodletools project. You can get a hall pass to the library for help on this or meet me afterschool on Tuesdays or Thursdays for help during overtime!
Each source should have at the minimum 2 notecards per source.

- Database
- Book
- Interview
- Email/Letter
- Pamphlet
- Picture
All of these count as a source for your research.
Task Five
- You will be emailed your mentor by Friday, January 21st.
- Meet with your Mentor to sign your Academic Honesty Policy & discuss your project. The mentor will have a binder and keep the document for you.
Task Six
- Photos of process journal
- photo of any drawings, list
- Photos of your project in action

- Submit Process Journal (Email Link or bring Process Journal and I will scan it digitally)
- Submit Works Cited Page (Email or shared via Noodletools)
- Proof of Presentation Piece (Powerpoint, Tri-Fold, or Poster Print)
How to Submit? Between now (Feb 21st) and March 24th, come to an after school or PLT event designed for Personal Projects. Check your calendar to see what dates you can come by to work or come by to submit your work. You will show your Written or digital process journal and I will scan your documents for IB.

Task Ten
Friday March 25th, you will present your project during 3rd block. Students who are presenting will be treated with Pizza after fair!
