Ms. Endicott's Class

Happy New Year

Welcome back to school! I hope that all of you had a wonderful and restful holiday. I am so glad to have everyone back and ready to start the second half of our year! We have some exciting projects that we will be working on over the next month! As readers, writers, and social scientists we will be writing and binding our own books on the American Revolution! As mathematicians, we will also begin our journey into understanding and using fractions.

ACTS Application

Letters were sent home with students before Christmas Break about the process for applying for our district's choice programs. ACTS is available for rising 5th graders. Information about the program can be found online at www.gwd50.org. This is just a reminder that all applications are due to Cathy Chalmers at the district office Jan. 29. If you would like for your child to apply, please send the part of the application that I need to complete, no later than Jan. 25, so I can get it submitted by the deadline.

Wish List

It is that time of year, when cold weather leads to people getting sick. To help prevent the spread of germs in our classroom, we are in serious need of the following items.

-Tissues

-Hand Sanitizer

-Clorox Wipes

If you would like to donate one or two of these items, our class would be greatful! Thanks!
