Qin Shi Haungdi
Qin Shi Huangdi(221-210 BC), is a very important figure in Chinese history. He was a ruthless ruler. He is important because he unified all of China. He finished the construction of the Great Wall of China. He was buried in a tomb with over 8,000 terracotta soldiers, 130 chariots, 520 horses, and 150 cavalry horses. Qin Shi Huangdi was born in Handan, China in 259 B.C. His great yet cruel rule came to an end in 210 B.C. by an unknown cause. Qin Shi Huangdi was a great yet harsh ruler in ancient China. The Temple of Heaven
The Temple of Heaven is an amazing sight and holy place. It was made in 1420. This is the largest architectural complex to pay respects to heaven. The Temple of Heaven is about 64,000 sq meters. It was turned into a park in 1982. This temple was designed by the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties so they could worship the god of heaven and pray for good harvests. This temple is Considered a reflection of the ancient civilization of China. The Temple of Heaven is one of the most beautiful places in China. You should travel there.
The North China Plain
The North China Plain is a super large plain. This plain is the largest alluvial plain in eastern Asia. It is based on the deposits of the Yellow river. The plain is 158,100 sq miles. This is one of China’s most important agricultural regions. China's capital city of Beijing is located on the northeast edge of the plain. Zhangjiajie Mountain Range
Zhangjiajie mountain range is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. This mountain range was the inspiration for Hallelujah mountains in Avatar. Each of these huge pillars is made of quartz and sandstone, not sedimentary rock. These mountains were originally called the Qingyan mountains. They were later called the Zhangjiajie mountain range after a man named Zhang is said to have lived there. These mountains became China’s first national forest parkin 1982. In the may of 2016 it is supposed to have the longest glass bridge in the world
