Student Assists on School Bus
Shelby Hoard, fifth grade student at Talbott STEAM Innovation School, was recognized by her bus driver, Sabrina Vaughns, for assisting with an incident on the school bus. Sabrina was helping a student who injured themselves and Shelby radioed back to Transportation to inform them of the situation. Shelby was very calm, professional, and did everything she was taught to do.

State Board of Education Tours MiLL
We were honored to have the Colorado State Board of Education take a tour at the Manufacturing Industry Learning Lab (MiLL) today. Board members learned about the manufacturing and construction programs, and were very impressed with the facility, equipment, and the skills and professionalism of the students.

The Manufacturing Industry Learning Lab (MiLL) has been nominated as the Best Trade School in Colorado Springs. Cast your vote for the MiLL in the Colorado Springs Independent Best of 2019 ballot. You can find the MiLL under Shopping & Services, under Trade Schools. You must vote in 20 categories for your vote to count. Deadline is Sept. 10.
