A Note from the Principal
We are ONE WEEK AWAY from our annual Education Fair, and the excitement is building! There is such a great energy within the school as teachers and students decorate doors, the STEM Club and Student Council create Candyland game board pieces, and our School Advisory Council plans the final touches. Like last year, we hope to have an amazing turnout from our students and families. Grab your green and gold spiritwear and see you next Thursday at the Education Fair!
I have spent the last two days serving on the External Validation Team for accreditation at St. Angela Merici School. It has been very interesting to collaborate with several other principals from the Diocese of Cleveland and the lead principal from the Diocese of Youngstown, working together for continuous improvement at the school and Catholic education in the Diocese of Cleveland. There are great things happening in Catholic education!
Finally, I want to give another reminder and push of encouragement to families to apply for Diocesan Tuition Assistance and the Angel Scholarship. We have just over $60,000 to offer to our families that we have not had before, and many more families can potentially be offered some financial assistance. A FACTS Grant and Aid application is required. The deadline is March 15. Please refer to the information further below in this newsletter.
Peace and blessings,
Diane Raguz, Principal
