St Columba's & Mary Aikenhead Ministries
Mary Aikenhead Ministries, Sisters of Charity, opened St Columba's College in 1897. It was the first all girls secondary school opened by the Sisters. St Columba's to this day are still involved with the Mary Aikenhead Ministries and obtain similar values and missions to them.
THE SERVICES
EDUCATION
The Mary Aikenhead Ministries want to bring life, love, compassion & justice to educational organisations. They help the St. Columba's community become closer to the church, and they seek to all people with courage & flexibility.
HEALTH & AGED CARE
St Vincent's Health Australia, together with its partners, forms one of Australia's leading Catholic, not-for-profit diversified healthcare providers. Health services include adult acute health services, sub-acute care and plenty more.
WELFARE
The Sisters of Charity have worked towards an environment of comfort and safety. St Columba's College have taken on board these values and ensure the students are comfortable in the school. We let them know about student counsellors and the open support from teachers.

This night that is held every year for new students and parents is to inform you about how us as as a school is connected with the Mary Aikenhead Ministries and the sorts of activities that we do to educate and give a better understanding about what they do for us as a school.
