PRAYER is a primary work of God's people. It is a vital connection to God where we can hear from, listen to, and respond to the Lord. We encourage you to pray for these requests during the week.

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer. (1 Peter 3:12)

  • Our High School Ministry summer missions leadership team arrived safely in Chicago on Friday despite numerous flight cancellations due to a severe winter storm that hit the city. Pray as God prepares & equips them to lead their teams to Memphis in June and July and for safe travel back to Tucson on Sunday..

  • Betty June Day is experiencing major health concerns.

  • Judy Sager is at home under hospice care.

  • Margorie Schoonover, sister-in-law of Dorcas, is again undergoing stem cell therapy for leukemia. Pray that it will be effective this time.

  • Protection for our military, law enforcement, first responders, revival in America, and God’s wisdom for the President and political leaders.

  • Andy Griffis, his wife, Fritzi, and their adult sons Nicholas and Alexander.

  • Rob Davis, his wife, Kendrah, and their son Henry, and daughter, Hadleigh.

  • Desert Valley Adventist Church

  • Prayer Requests: That discipleship becomes the norm, rather than a program; and that we would learn to trust God to lead us and use us however He has in mind.

There are more concerns within the body at Christ Community Church. Please come to the Lobby Counter on Sunday for a more complete and detailed list of the people who are in need of your prayers. Contact Pastor Rick to update the Prayer List.

This month we are celebrating all our missionaries and the amazing kingdom work they are doing around the world. CCC supports 19 missionary couples, 3 individuals, and 6 missions agencies in the United States and 11 foreign countries.

We as a church family host a yearly Missions Festival to make personal connections between the congregation and our missionaries and mission organizations. This is a special time for everyone involved. This year, our Missions Festival, "Heart for the Harvest," will be held NEXT Sunday, February 18, during both services, you will have a chance to personally meet several of our missionaries (see list below) and hear from guest speaker, Robert Blincoe, of Frontiers USA. Then at 5:30p.m., in the Gym, there will be a special evening program and international potluck. Please join us and bring an international dish to share.

  • Please pray for our missionaries as they travel to be part of this festival, and for their safe return to their mission field.
  • Pray also that God would use them to harvest many hearts for His kingdom.
