Stress and Mental Illness
Stress is a feeling that is created when we react to certain events. Fight or flight stress is a good stress because it protects us from tough situations. Bad stress is on-going, this can continue to produce extra stress hormones over a long time which can leave us feeling weak and sick. The body responds to stress by releasing hormones. Stress may cause anxiety, the feeling of being alone and lonely, it can cause forgetfulness and even anger.
