A Shark SHOUT OUT to MRHS senior Grace Boyle for the inspiring, graceful, and entertaining words of wisdom she shared with MRMS students during our National Junior Honor Society Induction Ceremony on May 8, 2018. Grace currently serves at the president of the high school's chapter of NHS, and she participated in the event as an honorary guest speaker. Her words were a highlight of the evening - helping our MS inductees see how the path of leadership, scholarship, service, and character leads to college offers and bright futures. Jawsome!
Mr. Wilson - MRMS Principal
I second that shout out to Grace. It was so kind and thoughtful of her to use her precious time to speak with our group (she needed to study for an AP exam afterwards). She was inspiring to say the least.
Thank you, thank you Grace!
Darlene Coy
Shout Out to Leslie Chizek for her unwavering support and expeditious communication with local philanthropic groups regarding the School-to-School exchange with Spain.
Ms. Hoff
Dear Administrators,
A quick note of congratulations on last evening's Town Meeting vote on the FY'19 MRSD budget! Once again next year the District will be operating with one of the most adequate school budget's in the Commonwealth, which is great news for the towns, its students, parents, and staff!
It was great that the funds for the athletic fields bathrooms and stabilization fund will avoid a ballot vote! Mr. Evans gave a very effective presentation, which educated the general public regarding the commitment of the Booster Club and members of the community through their voluntary efforts.
I am writing to let you know how impressed I was with the (non-voter) Monomoy student athlete Kyle Charlot, who requested and was granted permission by the voters to address the assembly regarding the matter of the bathroom facilities for the athletic fields! I did not catch his name, but, from my perspective he presented himself in a manner that rightfully should engender pride in him, his family, his educators, school and teammates, and the entire MRSD community! His followup to the presentation of Mr. Evans on his amendment to the article "sealed the deal" from my perspective and in the eyes of many in my circle who were also present at the meeting! What a fine reflection this young gentleman was on all who have played a role in his development. I would hope that my sentiments can be conveyed to him. What an example of positive citizenship modeled by one who has yet attained the age to have the voting privilege! Congratulations, MRSD!!
Sincerely,
Charles T. Gruszka
We should be very proud of Kyle Charlot who addressed the folks at Town Meeting last night concerning article #4. ( the schools) Everyone gave him a round of applause.
It is always great to see our kids get actively involved in the community.
Kyle was very articulate and professional in his explanation for why the money is needed.
Would you please give him a high five?
Angie Chilaka
