Community Resources and Partnerships
Focus Foods - free meals for families!
Focus Foods is proud to announce that they are continuing their partnership with the East Baton Rouge Parish School System’s Childhood Nutrition Program to provide free home-delivered frozen meal and snack boxes to all children within the parish for the duration of the spring school semester. These meals are available to all children 18 years of age and younger, regardless of school enrollment status. In-person students, remote learners, homeschoolers, charter and private school students, and kids younger than school age are all eligible!
Households that are interested in receiving these free meals just need to complete the short enrollment form and Focus Foods will deliver these meals directly to their home.

The 100 Black Men of Metro Baton Rouge is pleased to announce its Dollars and Sense Financial Literacy program is back! High School students are strongly encouraged to register for this important program, which is designed to help youth understand the wealth gap and apply basic budgeting and savings principles to become the next generation of investors and wealth-creators. Participants have a chance to compete for up to $2500 in program incentives, access $5000 in last-dollar scholarships to a University of LA System school, earn a paid summer internship and participate in the National Youth Investment Competition. HEALTH REMINDERS!
Please remember: If your child is experiencing any symptoms of COVID, such as headache, fever, stomach ache, cough, or runny nose, please keep your child home and contact the school. Our School Nurse can help you determine the best course of action for care and whether a quarantine or COVID test may be necessary before returning to campus.
If your child has been advised to quarantine due to possible exposure, please let us know right away so that we can properly mark attendance!
