Hello, December!

It is hard to believe that Christmas is just 23 days away. If you stop and think about feels like school just began. We have a lot of activities planned in just three short weeks before the break.

Students of the Month

The character trait for our Student of the Month was Responsibility.

Congratulations to Daisy Salazar, Chloe Johnson, Carly McEntire, Chris Ervin, Joe Rodriguez, and Michael Daniel.

Teacher of the Month

Congratulations to our December Teacher of the Month, Mrs. Delina Chitwood. Mrs. Chitwood is the math lead teacher and teaches 7th grade math at KMS.

9 - Advanced Band, Orchestra, and Choir to perform at KIS

10 - Band Christmas Concert at Forest Home Baptist Church at 6:00 p.m.

11 - One Act Play Rehearsal in Bullard

12 - One Act Play Performance in Bullard, Girls Basketball Tournament in Tyler

14 - Boys Home BB Game, Girls Away BB Game vs Gilmer

15 - Choir Concert at Forest Home Baptist Church at 7:00 p.m.

January 4 - School Resumes

KMS Twirlers Win BIG!

The KMS Twirlers competed in the Vicki Bowden Mobbs Classic twirling competion and received:

2nd place in Dance Twirl; 2nd place in Novelty Twirl; 1st place in Multi Baton; and 4th place in Show Routine. They were also awarded the Baton Handling Excellence Award. Great job, Ladies!

KMS Student Council Partipates in Make Kilgore Shine

Our KMS Student Council participated in helping keep Kilgore clean on Saturday, November 14. Students picked up trash from Baughman Road to the Hospital on Hwy 259.
