A Message from the Principals
Dear Millbridge Families,
It was another exciting week at Millbridge, with our annual Healthy Choices parade where our 1st graders hit the halls showing off their style and commitment to making good choices and our first ever Food, Fitness and Fun night for 2nd grade families. We are looking forward to continuing this tradition in future years.
As you may recall, this year we added additional health and physical education to our students’ schedules. Recently, we needed to make some adjustments to the schedules. Please review the schedule below as your child will need to wear sneakers that day. Between the extra physical education class, daily recess, and the age of our students, we strongly encourage students to wear sneakers everyday.
Your partners in education,
Mrs. Lowe and Mr. Blenderman

American Education Week
This year, November 19-21st is American Education Week, which provides an opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education. We would like to invite parents to join us that week at the times below to visit their child’s classroom. Please send an email to mboffice@delranschools.org not later than Friday, November 15th, if you are stopping in. Please remember, ID is required, parents need to be in Parent Portal and there is to be no videos or pictures taken in the building:
11/19/19 - American Education Visits 2nd grade (include Soto) 9:45 - 10:45
11/20/19 - American Education Visits 1st Grade, including Cahill/Caiazzo 1:00 - 2:00
11/21/19 - American Education Visits Kindergarten 9:45 - 10:45
11/21/19 - Preschool AM classes 9:30-10:00
11/21/19 - Preschool PM classes 1:00-1:30
Cold Weather
Since the temperatures already took a dip this week, there is no doubt that coat and glove season has arrived. Each day, we look at several factors to determine whether or not students are able to go outside to recess. Whenever possible, we try and send students outside to enjoy the fresh air, expend some energy and take a break so they can successfully engage in learning in the afternoon. This is also the time of year when our lost and found grows by leaps and bounds. Please be sure to write your child’s first initial and last name in those possessions that are likely to get misplaced such as lunchboxes, hats and scarves.
Lifetouch Picture Re-Take Day is Friday, November 22nd
Order forms are available in the main office for any parent who wishes to order with check or cash payment. Re-take reminder slips were distributed this week to all classrooms. Those who wish to order online can do so by visiting MyLifetouch.com and use Picture Day ID# WM599032Y1
Nominate Your Choice for Educator of the Year
The New Jersey Department of Education Governor's Educator of the Year Recognition Program looks to honor exceptional teachers and educational service providers by showcasing excellence, student achievement, innovation, and dedication through service in public education.
Delran Township Public Schools would like your help in nominating educators to represent our four schools. Once selected at the school level, educators have the opportunity to apply for county and state recognition.
If you would like to nominate a teacher, paraprofessional, and/or educational services professional that have truly inspired you as an educator, please click on the links below to submit your nominations by November 22, 2019.
We would like to thank you in advance for helping us determine our Delran Township Public Schools Educator, Paraprofessional, and Educational Services Professional of the Year.
Lost and Found
Just a reminder that we have a lost and found box in the gymnasium, which is growing every day. If your child is missing something, there is a chance it may be in there. One way to not lose items is to make sure their full name is on it. Please stop by and take a look or ask your child to take a look during their lunch time.
