Snow Day!
Please dress your child appropriately on Friday for snow day. Coats, hats, gloves, pants are all appreciated. The forecast calls for mid to high 50's so we might get the feel of a snow day too.
If your child does not have a pair of gloves, a pair of socks work well as a substitute. Please write your child's name on ALL articles of clothing.
We are in need of paper plates (the thin, cheap paper kind work the best), 2 gallons of apple juice, 2 2-liters of Sprite, and small dixi cups for Friday's festivities. Donations are greatly appreciated.
I was also wondering of anyone had a chest freezer that has room for about 10 small containers? I would love to give the children the opportunity to observe and work with different size blocks of ice. I have several containers but my freezer is small and we don't eat at home enough to need an additional chest freezer, yet. If you are willing to freeze some water for us please let me know. I can send the containers home with your child and you can drop them at school on Friday. I will bring a cooler to store them in. We will use it in the afternoon.
Homework Reminder
Book Bags
From time to time your child might borrow a book from the class library. These will come home in the Book Bag also as long as they fit.. Enjoy sharing them and return.
