Findley Flyer 2/16/23
Engage.Connect.Grow
Dear Findley Families,
Since it is the week of Valentine's Day, I want to let you know how much we love our Findley families. The work we do is hard and rewarding and we could not do it without your ongoing support!
A friendly reminder that there is no school for students on Monday, February 20 and Tuesday, February 21. On Tuesday, February 21, our teachers and staff will be engaging in district level professional learning. We hope that the students enjoy the long weekend.
Your opinion matters. Fulton County Schools encourages parents to take the Annual Parent Perception Survey between February 13th and March 10th. The survey is anonymous and confidential and should take about 15 minutes to complete. Please complete one survey per school where you have one or more students enrolled. Additionally, students in grades 4-12 will take the Annual Student Perception Survey between February 13th and 24th during the school day. As of today, we only have 8% of our parents who have completed the survey. In order to have reliable data, we need at least 50% participation.
Thank you,
Camille Christopher

Georgia’s Severe Weather Preparedness Week
Last week, Georgia observed Severe Weather Preparedness Week. GA Emergency Management encourages Georgians to prepare for inclement weather by learning about weather threats, reviewing or creating a family communications plan and considering what items to put in your Ready kits.
Schools, including Findley Oaks, conduct Shelter in Place drills throughout the school year to ensure staff and students know what to do in case of a weather emergency.
- This is a great time to review your own severe weather plans at home!
