Get Up and Get Moving - Tuesday, February 16th and Thursday, February 18th
Volunteers are needed to help with Get Up and Get Moving on February 16th and 18th. Get Up and Get Moving is a healthy kids' initiative that takes place in two local elementary schools once a month and is focused on educating children about healthy and active lifestyles. Volunteers will help facilitate fun games and activities, educate children on special health topics, and serve as positive role models by interacting with children throughout the event.
If you would like to sign up for the event, please use the OrgSync links below. All event times include travel to and from schools. A carpool will be arranged for transportation, and those who wish to drive are encouraged to do so. We hope you will join us for the fun and games, and your help is greatly needed and appreciated!

Humane Lobby Day - Thursday, February 11th at 9:00 AM
Sponsored by The Humane Society of the United States in state capitals across the country, Humane Lobby Days give citizen animal advocates like you an opportunity to ask your state legislators to pass laws that protect animals.
What is Humane Lobby Day? It's a one-day event in your state organized by The HSUS where you can meet with your elected officials and their staff about animal protection issues in West Virginia.
Why is your participation in Lobby Day so critical? We know legislators are most motivated when their constituents take time to meet face-to-face. It's your chance to show how much animals mean to you.
