Register here for city alerts
The City of Willow Park is transitioning from the Blackboard Connect system to the CivicReady system for our citywide alerts such as severe weather, road closures, etc. You can create your profile and enter your current contact information here:
To add your water route for water system repair alerts, look for the first three digits of your account number on your utility bill.
We ask that ALL residents and businesses sign up for the new system, even if you're currently enrolled for Blackboard Connect. We will be discontinuing the old system soon and want to make sure we stay in touch with you!
Mayor's message
The end of the year is always a time to reflect on the last 12 months, and they’ve been good ones in Willow Park. We have added new residents and new businesses that are helping our city to grow and thrive. The Fort Worth water project is nearing completion and we’ve made great progress toward the new sewer plant. We also opened a new city park and playground for our families to enjoy and added staff to public safety and city hall to help better serve the needs of our community.
We are excited to anticipate 2022: we have more things planned that will continue to improve the quality of life in Willow Park, most notably an extensive street project that will provide much-needed repairs to several major roads and some of our neighborhoods.
We wish everyone in the city a Merry Christmas with their loved ones and a prosperous new year ahead.

Holiday safety tips from Willow Park Police Department
· Be patient when looking for a parking space, especially crowded malls and shopping centers. Kids like to dart out and some shoppers are busy thinking about purchases.
· Keep shopping bags out of plain sight in your vehicle, preferably in your trunk.
· Please DO NOT leave purses, laptop bags, extra keys, etc. in your vehicle.
· Keep your purse close to your body. Crossbody purses are a great idea for women!!
· Keeping your wallet in an inside coat pocket or front pants pocket is a great way to keep items secure, also!
· Save your receipts and monitor your credit card activity.
· When shopping online, stick to retailers you know or have shopped with before. Be careful with spoof sites.
· Before you click on a link you are unsure of, hover your curser over the link and see if it matches where you are wanting to visit. Same for email links!
· Do not use public Wi-Fi to make purchases in order to prevent hackers from intercepting your information. Many cell phone plans include allow your phone to become a personal hotspot for friend and family with you.
· DO NOT leave children unattended in a vehicle while you shop. Not only is it dangerous, but it is against the law!
· If it is an option, schedule package deliveries at a locker, business, or during a time frame you may be home.
· Porch pirates are always on the prowl, especially during the holidays. Make sure any surveillance cameras you may have are working properly.
· Be careful posting on social media that you are on vacation, which means your house may be unattended.
