Q & A with JMS's Teacher of the Year, Dawn Kelley
Question #1 - What made you want to teach?
Dawn Kelley (DK): I have always been teaching something throughout my adult life. I wasn’t sure until shortly after I began working with special needs kids that this is what I should have been doing all along.
Question #2 - How long have you taught?
DK: I have been teaching for fourteen years and started in Florida.
Question #3: How has teaching impacted your life?
DK: It’s the most rewarding thing that I have ever done. I look forward to every school year.
Question #4: What is your favorite part about being a teacher at JMS?
DK; The feeling that there is always support. Everyone is always helping everyone else at JMS.
