The flag of Pakistan is green with a crescent and star. The star represents light and knowledge, while the crescent represents progress. It also has a white strip on the left part of the flag.
Geography
Some of the major land forms in Pakistan include K2, which is the second most tallest mountain in the world. It is also considered the most treacherous mountain to climb.
Some of Pakistan's landmarks include Faisal Mosque and Frere Hall.
The Indus River runs through Pakistan and the Arabian Sea borders the south side of Pakistan.
Pakistan's mountainous regions can hinder urbanization. It's harder to build roads, homes and places to work when there's a mountain in the way.
Government and Economy
The chief of state is President Mamnoon Hussain. The head of government is Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif.
Pakistan elects their leaders/presidents through citizen elections.
The citizen's rights in Pakistan are similar to the US. They have the freedom of movement, freedom of speech and the freedom to profess religion. Their responsibilities are similar too. Citizens still have to vote, pay taxes and obey laws.
Pakistan's GDP is $930.8 billion. This makes it the 27th richest country in the world, based off of purchase power parity.
The currency Pakistan uses is called Pakistani rupee.

Pakistan's life expectancy is 67.39 years. It's birth rate is 22.58 births out of 1,000 population. Pakistan's literacy rate is 57.9%
Pakistan's main drinking water source is the Indus River and it's tributaries.
Pakistan's Culture
Pakistan's national languages are English and Urdu, although Pakistan plans are making Urdu their solitary language.
Pakistani pop music is the most popular type of music in Pakistan. It's a mixture of Pakistani classical music and Western versions of jazz, rock and roll, hip hop and disco.
Pakistan has similar holidays to the US, like Labor Day and Independence Day.
The main religion of Pakistan is Islam. Islam is a monotheistic religion, meaning it only has one god. It was founded by a man named Muhammad and 95-98% of the Pakistan population follow the religion. The Holy Book for this religion is called the Holy Qur'an. The usual place to worship and follow this religion is a mosque.
A popular dish from Pakistan is called biryani. Biryani is a rice dish that is usually accompanied by bread, fruit/vegetables or meat.

Pakistan gets an average rainfall of 450mm.
Pakistan gets an average temperature of 71°F.
Since Pakistan is one of the driest countries in Asia, it hardly has any water. This causes morality rates to go up. Also, because of the lack of water, there isn't a proficient amount of food to sustain the population in Pakistan.

The two aspects I chose are religion and history
The US has two main religions: Protestant and Catholic
Pakistan has two main religions: Islam and Muslim
All of these religions are monotheistic, meaning there is only one god, but the gods mentioned in the religions are different from each other.
The US’s history and Pakistan’s both have something to do with war. Both countries have also fought against British rule.
The US’s history is less war stricken than Pakistan’s.
