Principal's Message...
Peace Dale Elementary School has a NEW VISION!!!
A new year symbolizes new beginnings and Peace Dale Elementary School is proud to announce our new vision statement, which will become the anchor of our school improvement plan.
Graduates of Peace Dale Elementary School are inspired, curious and self-directed learners that are caring citizens, able to use a growth mindset to make positive changes in their lives and the lives of others.
It is a very exciting time to be leading in education. Educational landscapes are evolving everyday. We are preparing our children for a future that is changing faster than we can imagine, with more diverse views and perspectives to embrace, as we educate students to become global citizens. It is more important than ever that schools focus on teaching students how to learn, so that they can thrive in a future workforce and truly become lifelong learners.
When children are authentically engaged in their education, they are naturally inspired and curious. They will value learning and see it as fascinating and fun. They will begin to take risks, grapple with complex concepts and view "failures" as opportunities for growth and more learning.
Teaching our children how to critically think and problem solve will be essential life skills they will need to navigate an ever-changing world. Guiding our graduates to become self-directed learners, who will chart their own course, close their own learning gaps and create their own opportunity, will provide educational equity and empower all of our students to be college or career ready.
I am honored to be leading a community that is so passionate about education. Over 200 votes (paper/computer) were cast and 85% of all stakeholders chose our winning vision statement.
We have a shared vision to inspire our children to be curious and creative, to empower them to take ownership of their learning, and to make positive impacts in their lives- and the lives of others. In 2020, let's start making our dreams come true!
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year,

Dismissal Procedure - PICK-UPs
Please be sure our main office has all updated emergency contact information for authorized release individuals. Once we have the lanyard system in place, we will no longer need to have parents/guardians or authorized individuals "sign" students out at pick-up.
If a student is an early release, leaving school before regular dismissal or a late pick-up, in school care after regular dismissal, you must "sign" your child(ren) out of school through our Main Office.
