Mustang Moment with...
Jennifer Lundstrum!
We would love to start getting to know our staff a little more in a section of Mustang Messenger called Mustang Moment. Enjoy getting to know a little bit about Jennifer Lundstrum!
1. What is your favorite childhood memory as an elementary aged kid? "I unfortunately broke my leg while in 1st grade and therefore was hospital homebound for my academics. I remember one of my highlights, however, of 1st grade was when my 1st grade teacher came to my house to teach me she would give me an incentive of getting to play with her Siamese cat for the day if I finished my work. Every time I finished my work, she would bring over her cat for me to play with. This was a great memory."
2. Tell us something unique/different about yourself or your family, we might not already know. "My dad was in the Army for over 30 years. I have lived in Michigan, Colorado, Oklahoma, Georgia (twice), Germany (twice), North Carolina, & Virginia. I am thankful that Georgia has been my home for the last 22 years. This is where I've lived my "adult life" and raised my children :)"
3. What is your favorite thing about working at Midway? "The experience of working with the teachers and students. Every day is different and exciting. I appreciate the friendships I have developed with the staff. I also enjoy getting kids off the bus in the morning as a way to start my day with a smile."
If you would like to be part of or nominate someone for Mustang Moment, please reach out to Mr.Walkup.
Technology Information
MOVIE REMINDER-Just want to give you a few reminders as the holiday season approaches to keep us out of copyright jail:
- Streaming from Netflix/ Amazon/ Disney + etc. is NOT ALLOWED. The IT department monitors video streaming. Even though you may be paying for the streaming service, the fine print always says this is for home/personal use only.
- We do have a movie license to show approved movies in your classroom, if you have a questions as to whether a movie is approved, just ask Orr and he'll look it up.
- There are a few external drives available for the last week before break, but availability (especially for the 19th) is quite limited. (Early Bird gets the worm)
- On another note if you have an external drive you aren’t using then return it to Orr at some point Thursday or Friday of this week.
Winter/Christmas Themed BREAKOUTS-Let me know if you need any help or want my company. Mrs. Lundstrum
A note from PE....
Safety Bird Enrique
Safety Bird Enrique is glad everyone had a great Thanksgiving break! Please be mindful of our fire drill next Wednesday @ 1:15.
Have a great weekend!
Moments of Mustang Might
Each week we want to highlight staff members who demonstrate the 7 Habits qualities.
When people make an impact on you, please share the moment so we can celebrate each other. Email Jennifer Lundstrum, Sarah LeBlanc, or Admin by Thursday at lunch time each week to highlight our teammates.

- Please make sure you are updating your itslearning page consistently. This helps students get acclimated to using the platform before an inclement weather day, fosters communication with parents, and is a county expectation.
