Rosa parks was is a regular African American senior living in Montgomery, Alabama during the 50s and 60s but wasn't treated like a regular citizen or human being for that matter she was arrested for sitting in a white mans seat when the bus was almost empty she served he time in prison but made a big impact on the civil rights movement and helped inspire Martin Luther King and his wife push it forward.

she could have sat down on the white benches or the white water fountain pretty much anything that has to deal with the white people using instead of the black people we supposed to use.
