AP exams registration
An e-newsletter from Mounds View Public Schools
Are you sure you’ve successfully registered for the AP exams you intend to take this spring?
This email is being sent to students and families that have students currently enrolled in an Advanced Placement (AP) course at their high school first semester.
It’s important all first semester, full year and independent study AP students verify their AP exam order in their College Board MyAP account. MyAP student accounts will now reflect the exam order that has been placed (with the exception of semester 2 only class exam order registrations that will soon be completed Jan. 27-Feb. 14).
1) VERIFY EXAM ORDER: Students should review their online College Board MyAP student account for each AP course to confirm they are successfully registered for each exam they intend to take this spring.
In their MyAP account, the Exam Day section will either show:
The exam date and "Registered for exam" – which indicates the student has paid and ordered the exam, the registration is complete.
OR
The exam date and "Not registered for exam" – which indicates the student has NOT paid and has NOT ordered the exam, the registration is NOT complete.
2) VERIFY TWO EXAMS ON THE SAME DAY EXAM CONFLICTS: students will not be able to take two exams scheduled on the same day. Morning exams will not be done before afternoon exams begin. For students with this exam scheduling conflict, we have rescheduled one of the exams to the alternate exam LATE testing schedule on a different date and time. It’s important for students to be aware of the new rescheduled test date. If a student has this exam conflict and does not have one of the exams rescheduled yet, contact aptesting@moundsviewschools.org as soon as possible before Feb. 14.
If a student has any questions or concerns, contact aptesting@moundsviewschools.org. If a student intends to make any changes, all changes need to be completed by Feb. 14, 2020 and some changes may result in additional fees.
