Hello Rambler Families
We hope you had a fabulous week.
A quick note. As we all saw, Winter came in with a bang. Please make sure you send your student with warm clothes (or snow clothes), gloves and a hat. If you are in need of these items, please reach out to Christine Swanson by giving her a ring at the school, or shooting her an email at Christine@cascadeschools.org.
We hope to see you all at our Halloween Parade this Monday. Please continue reading for a note from our Superintendent, Halloween Parade plan, as well as other information pertaining to your students' education. Have a safe weekend and thanks for being a Rambler!
A Note from Superintendent Stevenson
Did you hear the great news that Cascade School District made the top 10 list for Math Achievement?
I received the official word that we made the list on 10/26/22. I shared this news with our entire student body and staff in a full assembly, during this assembly we officially said goodbye to the labels that we received. We said goodbye to "Underperforming," "bottom 5%," "low achieving," and "Below Basic."
We are so proud of our staff and students. Thank you for trusting us!

A note from Mrs. Swanson regarding ASVAB
Students and parents,
On November 3rd, all juniors and seniors will be participating in the ASVAB ( Armed Services Vocational and Aptitude Battery). Cascade schools is partnering again with members of the armed forces to administer this aptitude test as one additional means of assessing student interests and aptitudes. While the ASVAB is designed to be a tool used by all branches of the military to determine whether you are a good fit to join the service. It also suggests which branch, occupation and training might be best suited for individual students. While not every student is interested in serving in our armed forces, these battery of assessments can be another tool to help civilians narrow their college and career paths as well.
For any student specifically interested in entering a branch of the armed forces, I recommend that you check out this link https://www.asvabpracticetests.com/asvab-free-online-study-guide/ to find some tools, practice tests and study guides to help you improve your score. There are lots of resources, frequently asked questions and guidelines to help students and parents.
