There are many different "colors" of music. So many different genres and artists, the spectrum is almost infinite. music is universal. Everybody likes some form of music. Music is just a part of life.

Why is it so important?

People have always told me how important music is. I've things like "music is my escape" and "music is the way to the soul" i always wondered what those thing meant. It wasn't until recently that i have been able to relate to those sayings. But why? Well for me it is an escape, not that reality is bad but music is a different way to tell a story, just like books. Music can put feelings into words and into a tune. You ever had that one song that you listen to only when you're in a certain mood? Maybe you don't even realize it. That right there proves just how important it is. We can feel based on the sound of a song and depending on the type of music we listen to, there are certain songs or even artists or genres that fit perfectly with our mood, which seems to increase happiness if you have something to express feelings that maybe are being kept in or confused feelings.
