BHMS Principal's Update 6/20/22
Start of Summer Information
Keeping Up with What is Going on at the Hill!!!
It's hard to believe that summer is here and the whirlwind of the school year has come to an end. On behalf of Dr. Muscelli and the staff at BHMS we would like to thank you for your support and the constant communication you had with us. We wish our 8th graders the absolute best has they move on to high school whether it is WTHS, a private school, GCIT, or another public school district. 8th graders and families worked incredibly hard over a span of 3 years where everything was uncertain. In the yearbook, I wrote a message for you all as I do every year. Please click on the following link to view the letter and some parting words as you 8th graders move to the next level: Yearbook Letter
For the rising 8th graders and 7th graders, continue to do your best, make good decisions this summer, forge positive friendships, and do all you can to set yourself up for the best success in 2022-23 and beyond. Finally, we are also looking forward to the new 6th graders entering BHMS. We believe and hope you find that you're coming to a special place. We hope you find your middle school experience to be positive, filled with uplifting moments, and academic success.
We will continue to update you throughout the summer with various things. In the meantime, families and students, please be safe in your travels or adventures this summer.

On the Athletics Page....
- A student cannot try out or practice for any sport without a verified athletic physical.
- Physicals must be in at least 3-4 weeks prior to the first practice. It takes at least 3 weeks to review. The nurse has to verify the form, then send it to the district doctor who reviews the form. Sometimes the doctor does not endorse the physical and asks the nurse to go back to the families for more information. This could be a long process.
