CSD Elementary Schools Showcase Talent with “Lights on Afterschool” Program
CSD elementary school students enrolled in CLASP recently participated in the “Lights on Afterschool” program, the only nationwide event celebrating afterschool programs and their important roles in the lives of children and families. As part of the two decade-old program, each elementary program staged a show, and invited friends and families to attend. Students and staff worked as emcees, costume designers, stage crew and set designers or handled audio/video. “What an exciting time to see our children show their talent,” said CSD CLASP Administrator Peggy McManus. “It was a very special time enjoyed by all. I have such gratitude to the staff for the time planning and preparing for this special event.” Read more>
