Message from your DoE
As we welcome the month of May, we celebrate the rich culture and heritage of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders. May is designated as their month to honor their contributions and achievements to our society.
Moreover, May is also recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to prioritize our mental wellbeing and encourage conversations about mental health.
Join us in this month-long celebration and advocacy for diversity and mental health awareness. Let us continue to promote a community that values and supports individuals from all backgrounds and upholds the importance of mental health in our daily lives.
We, the Sumner-Bonney Lake School District, proudly recognize and wholeheartedly support the Month of May as Jewish American Heritage month, celebrating the rich history, culture, and contributions of Jewish Americans to our society.
