*Celebrations*
- Students are typing written responses in music class!
- Many teachers are moving forward with goal setting and conferences, not only in ELA, but in math as well!
- Many teachers are giving students opportunities to get their hands 'dirty' in the science lab!
- Students in several classrooms are engaging in multiple resources in order to gather information for an authentic task!
Ideas from Each Other
Dojo Portfolios
Michelle Kelly is using Class Dojo portfolios with her instrumental music classes!
Here is the document David shared with details on how to get your class started.
Visual Patterns
Walburn shared a collection of hundreds of visual patterns for warm-ups or other math routines.
Goal-Setting Sheets
Libby, Auxier, and Janosko are implementing individual goal-setting in their math classes using this goal-setting sheet.
Balog
Balog has created a code for immediate feedback to her students. One example: M= math; D = decimal. She wrote the appropriate code on a student's paper and then they went back and independently attempted to fix their mistake.
