But christitan missionaries took full advantage in the romans network of roads and sea-lanes which enabled them to carry their message to the Roman Empire and the mediterranean basin.
Paul of Tarsus a missonary known for performing miracles who popularized christianity in Anatolia during the mid third century CE. he was known for casting out demons and healing the sick with fellow missonaries he was able to spread christianity to Anatolia, Syria, Palestine, Egypt, North Africa, Greece, Italy, Spain and Gaul. They were really strict in Mesopatamia and Iran and followed strict indian rules (no sex, fine foods, luxury etc.) some even became isolated in the desert for mediation. This impressed christians in Rome. After the 5th century Christian communities in SW Asia and the Meditterian basin went seperate ways. Most in SW Asia became nestorians.
